How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Present for Grandpa
We gifted the Grandparents cell phones for Christmas. Their old phones had Pela cases on them (they were also our older model phones) and they loved them. My husband had some generic cases from work, so we put those on the phones. The phones were a hit, the cases were NOT! Thankfully Grandpa’s Birthday is shortly after Christmas, so we took advantage of Pela’s (fabulous!) BOGO sale and got them both new cases. As people with arthritis in their hands (this also applies to me) the Pela cases make them feel more secure about their phones not slipping out of their hands, and they are “softer”. The flexible material gives a bit when you are holding your phone, and is just so much nicer than hard plastic when you are gripping your phone. Grandpa is pretty outdoorsy, so this design was perfect for him!

The best case ever
This is my 4th Pela Case and it definitely won't be the last! They are beautiful and they are protecting my phone perfectly, nothing happened to it since I'm buying those cases. Totally recommend!

Excellent case and worth every penny.
The phone case moulds around the shape of the phone. Delighted that my case is 100% compostable. I’m trying to cut down on the plastic I use and this was a guilt free buy. These guys are doing great things for the environment, if only there were more companies like them.

I really like this case and will definitely be buying from you again. Love the good grip this case has, won’t be slipping out of my hand like previous cases. It was hard to pick from all the great options but the colours and scene on this case is perfect.
