How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Perfect case!
I’ve been searching for this exact case since my iPhone 5s!! It is the perfect rubbery texture on the bumper for grip, with a clear back to show off the color of your phone. The buttons are perfectly tactile and I also love that the action button is uncovered so it provides a good resting support for my left index finger. I’m a little obsessed with my iPhone cases if you couldn’t tell and trust me this case is absolutely the best. It’s the only case I’ll use going forward. I just wish they had more color options such as gray or navy blue or red. I would buy all of those as well! Thank you Pela :)
