How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Carefully designed wrap around edges to protect the front of your phone. Smooth to the touch, flexible with no extra bulk.

Great case from a company that cares about the planet
Bought the case for my son who is a avid surfer. He is also very serious about the environment. After seeing a Pela case my niece had and was told how it’s made, I knew this would be a great gift for my son. Once I saw the Big Wave pattern I ordered it. The case has an excellent grip and the Mag Safe module is an added bonus.

Gorgeous Lightweight Cover
After learning that Otterbox cases actually exacerbate the amount of radiation a phone produces, I decided to let go of my "need" for such a hefty case and find an eco-friendly option. My Pela case does not disappoint, and fits really nicely on my phone. I am really glad I paired it with the grip because I have not dropped my phone even once now that I can loop my finger through it!! So I am a reformed phone dropper and might not even need to test the canopy screen saver (though I'm glad I got it). This whole phone outfit is lightweight, beautiful, good for the planet and high quality. I highly recommend!!
