How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Our Case Design

Meticulously designed to protect your phone from drops and scratches as well as any traditional plastic case. Precision cuts around speakers, charger, volume and power buttons.

Love that these are compostable! They're cute and work well. My phone is safe!
My only challenge is that the power button has no button cover and the volume ones do. Makes it slightly difficult to screenshot or press the power button since there is so much volume around it

Amazing Case - Long Shipping to US
Absolutely love my Pela case. It’s grippy and very comfortable in the hand. The case balances the way the camera lenses jut out on the back of the iPhone 16 and helps the phone sit flat. The only con is the long wait time to receive in the US. It took about a month for our cases to arrive in NJ, but I’m all for sustainability and supporting our friends in Canada, so I really have no complaints!
